Joanna Hunek
Joanna has a background in learning and development, training, and talent, with a career rooted in multi-cultural and global organisations across several countries. In 2008, she transitioned from the B2B events industry into IT, where she drove a wide range of enablement and development initiatives—from leadership development and sales enablement to onboarding and soft skills training. Her work in the tech sector placed her at the heart of business transformation, working with digitisation, virtual learning, and flexible, adaptive approaches to development, while supporting individuals and teams through constant change.

Her passion for designing innovative learning journeys and nurturing empowered cultures that allow people to thrive naturally led her into coaching and leadership development. Inspired by the bold, human-centred approach of Global Warriors—whose work she encountered during her L&D career—Joanna stepped into coaching in 2016, building on a decade of experience within a global blue-chip organisation. Since then, she has coached hundreds of individuals, managers, and leaders to grow into authentic, intentional, and courageous leaders of the 21st century.
Joanna is a direct, energetic, and down-to-earth coach and facilitator, passionate about conscious leadership, personal growth, and cultural transformation. She is also a certified team coach, having completed advanced training with ORSC (CRR Global), and works systemically to foster stronger trust, alignment, and collaboration within teams and organisations.
Joanna has trained with several of the world’s leading coaching schools. She is a Certified Co-Active Coach, a certified ORSC practitioner, certified in Firework Career Coaching, and Leadership Circle Profile. She holds a PCC credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is qualified in coaching supervision, and offers both individual and group supervision to coaches. She also holds a Level 7 Certificate in Human Resource Development (with CIPD), a BSc in Geography, and an MA in International Event Management.
Outside of work, Joanna is a mum of two, a keen triathlete, and is most at home in the great outdoors.
